It is bigger than I thought which is a good thing . After we got our heads around how it went together it was simplicity itself. Nice strong plastic and looks easy to install plants. The watering system is a good thing as you do not have to worry about watering it all the time. I cannot wait to get my favourite plants in it. The delivery was excellent. Fast and efficient. I am really very pleased with the order overall and will certainly go back to the seller again. I can't judge how well the self-watering system works since I keep it outside; it's far too large for my kitchen window sill. Except for the top space, where you can actually plant a medium-sized plant, all the side bits leave space only for very small plants, but you have to fill the whole cavity with earth anyway--seems a waste. But it does look nice when planted. One other slight problem is that you need to turn it a lot if you plant flowers that want sun, unless you have it in a space that gets sun all around. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent! *by A***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 20 July 2015* I purchased one for my alpine strawberries, but I only had 5 plants...So, I started filling up the other planting spots with thyme and sage. They are all thriving.Self watering? I don't know about that. What it has is water retaining gel which absorbs an absurd amount of water. This gel bag is placed at the bottom of the planter an presumably keeps the plants moist. It is fair to say that the core is always very moist even when there have been several days of very high heat so it must be doing something.Apart from the functional side of it I would actually buy 2 of them now and stack on top of each other to create a taller tower.
