But after my wife insisted we move out to a more rural area to avoid frequent death threats and police contact, my spyglass was no longer up to task. After some research I settled on this scope, and man I’ll tell you it has been a life saver. The ease-of-use and clarity of this device are perfect for my “bird watching”. This has such high magnification that I no longer have to worry about being detected. I don’t have to remain perfectly still nor position myself between two narrowly separated window blind slats with the lights off. I can now view objects so far away that my new neighbors don’t even suspect a thing, and rarely even close their curtains. SCORE!! And it came with a tripod so when I’m back in the city visiting relatives and “spending too much time alone in [my] room with the door locked and being such an ungrateful guest”, I still can keep it perfectly steady while positioned behind the dime-sized hole I cut into my in-laws’ bedroom drapes. I love this device! And it came with a discreet carrying bag, so instead of, “Ben, I told you to leave the creepy peeping Tom thing at home”, now all I hear is, “Honey, what’s in the bag?” Well that’s our little secret, right Amazon? 😉 Best of all I can easily mount my cell phone to the scope.
