It has lots of storage underneath which is a good thing.It’s light and easy to assemble but could have done with a bit more foam or fabric underneath the cover.Lifting mechanism works fine. Terrible delivery. Although it did not take long to arrive the delivery man were horrible. They left heavy boxes OUTSIDE the house for wife to get inside. She did struggle with them. My partner had to assemble mostly alone, he said it weren't too hard but would have been easier with two people. My daughter tried helping and put a few slats on the wrong way and we couldn't pop them back off without breaking. The storage is amazing, we fit loads of board games and toys etc under there. I bought this bed for an attic room and the headboard was much bigger than I expected but I'm so happy with it, looks fab with a matress and bedding on. The delivery was very quick and the delivery driver phoned me the morning he was delivering the bed to let me know exactly when he would arrive. He arrived at the time stated and was friendly and polite. The bed took less than two hours to build up and was pretty straight forward to do. It looks stunning in my bedroom and looks much more expensive than it actually was. I have not seen a better bed for less than this one!! I bought the black double. The storage under the bed is a good size and keeps things dust free. I am very pleased with this bed and would recommend it to anyone.
