Installation was not difficult and they look outstanding. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Looks great, but NO highway peg *by B***L on March 27, 2011* I guess I should have looked closer at the pictures. The reason I chose this product is because it is "the original patented combined engine guard and highway peg". However, on my 06 Roadliner, you would have to be a least another 6 - 8" taller in order to use it as a highway peg and I am 5' 10". It mounts in FRONT of the stock floorboard and in front of the frame downtubes. Installation was super easy. Just remove two bolts for each floorboard mount, mount the bar and spacer for rear floorboard mount, the use thread lock and bolt everything back up. The top mounts to the downtubes using supplied "claws" and bolts. Was done in 20 minutes. Although one of the four bolts gave me trouble (assumed the threadlock that Yamaha uses). Again, great looking product. Hopefully, I'll never find out it they really work as crash bars (the floorboards do that job pretty well and I know this for a reason).
