Over all a very good rod for beginners

Bcoz in the image the locks are shown and with the product locks are comes they are deferent. So this is wrong thing by amazon that why they not show the right image of product otherwise the product is a very good for weight lifting and all other exercises 😊

Very thin..may be useful for light workouts..that to tall big handed guys to go for this...not a good deal spend some more money and get more than 22 inches..not a good deal..quality is good

hai to all. i bought this separately (not in a combo pack) it is really 21mm diameter &5Ft in length as described in d product detail page. the grip marks are good. the rod seems2b sturdy and real steel. mmmm... coming to ur ques... i planned to lift a max of 120kg in progression. but the straight rods in gym are 25-28mm thickness so we can add much weights. olympic rods have more dia. my guess regarding this rod is, it can handle 80-100kg as it is sturdy steel. beyond that limit is letz do trial and error. another point told by my physiotherapy friend u should consider is when we add more weights on thinner rods below 21mm grip, it will impact on wrists. for d time being upto 80-100kg progression i planned to use it. then i will go for a thicker straight rod. for ur information im also using 21mm curl bars 3&4Ft which r safe for wrists while curling below 80kg. i will update my detailed feedback with pics about dimensions in review section soon.bestofluck. regards!

It's pretty good barbell and has a nice finishing but there's one problem the locks are not same as shown in picture they are just cheap locks which lose grip after sometime.
