I do think it is nice enough to wear out of the house. The material is silky, and has a good weight to it. It doesn't feel cheap. It is also breezy at the same time. I am 5'4, 130 lbs, 28" waist, and 34C bust. I am wearing size medium in light blue. It is spot on with the size chart. The top fits me perfectly. The bottoms are a smidge small at the waist, but I like to wear them a little lower since I have a short torso. The length just hits the floor which is fine for me, but might be a little short for tall girls. The color is also spot on to the model photo.
