Don't misunderstand, the gripping strength of the magnet is strong. It holds solidly and requires a good pull to get it off the equipment. I just mean that if you grab the phone alone, and pull, the magnet comes off with the phone. This is perfect in the gym as I want the magnet to stay with me. Seriously a good item that does its job!

Sturdy construction, metal, with a nice rubber base which makes decent a good landscape-view kickstand. There are four magnets in the base to hold it to vertical surfaces--may benefit from upgrading it to 5 or possibly 6 magnets for an extra strong hold. Swivel ability is firm enough to hold the phone in any direction without sagging. The metal is a nice touch.
