Well update this review after I get it put to together.Update:Took the Hawk 250 to work on May 1st. I have a 30 mile ride to work and this was the 1st ride for the Hawk. Went 40 miles, took a longer ride because I did not want to get off the Hawk. The Hawk handled quit well for it's 1st ride.And yes I put good oil in the Hawk before the ride. Also adjusted the clutch. I well say you'll want a better headlight bulb for the Hawk. I put a 4h/9003 LED bulb in the Hawk. You can adjust the headlight up or down with a screw under the headlight. clock turning the screw will raise the light beam.Will add to this review later.Updated: May 7, 2025I now have put 380 miles on the Hawk. Have only had one problem out of the Hawk. The speedometer stopped working on day one. I am working with the dealer to get it replaced. But was thinking of replacing the speedometer with a Digital Speedometer.Tachometer/Odometer anyways. You really need a Tachometer on the hawk. The Transmission is geared really low for off road. And if your wanted the Hawk as a street commuter you will want to change the finale drive Front and Rear Sprocket. To 17t by 45t Sprockets. To help the engine get to high way speeds and help the little 223cc engine relax and last longer. The gear change is easy and cost about $36.00. I did put a LED headlight bulb on the Hawk. Now I can see at night.There are lots of YouTube video on how to mod the Hawk. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great bike! Would definitely do it again!! ### ⭐ Horrible bike and customer service *by T***. on May 25, 2023* I haven't been able to ride my bike since receiving it the carburetor is just horrible it takes hours for me to tune for me to even attempt to start it and then when I finally got it up and running on its first voyage out I get a flat rear tire while riding at 30mph.So this has been the most horrible experience of my life dealing with a so called reputable company.. I thought I was going to be well taken care of and treated as not just a brand new rider and customer but as a person, part of the RPS Motors FAMILY. But apparently I'm worse than the red headed step child, I'm the beaten,bruised,malnourished, forgotten, First Born from the First Marriage that dads trying not to acknowledge my insane behavior and crying out but to instead focus ALL his energy on the New wife and family he's built and the new kids he can mold into whatever he wants...ANYWAYS..I Degress my Brand New Hawk 250cc Dirtbike was delivered beautifully, assembled properly, and then upon first ride begun the HORRIBLE DEVASTATING EXPENSIVE LONELY AND OH YEAH BY THE WAY PAINFULLY PAINFUL PROBLEMS WITH THE BIKE WHICH HAVE MADE IT IN OPERABLE SINCE THIS.... the Picture is my right foot after the damn BIKE decided on its own to DOWNSHIFT FROM 2ND TO N,AND STAY IN N, EVEN WITH ALLL ATTEMPTS TO CLUTCH AND SHIFT PROPERLY BACK INTO 2ND GEAR THE BIKE WILL NOT.
