My nails have never been healthier. Tips, application & results
I wanted to finally try gel nails after being thinking about it for years (since gel polish came out)So you get a picture of me and my nails...I used to bite my nails badly, but stopped around 6 years ago.I usually let my nails grow to a comfortable long length (long but without bothering me while I write or type)I like painting my nails, but I have found that if instead of using Jessica nail polishes, I use any other brand, my nails become weakened and one or two end up breaking (either a few days after I’ve applied my nail polish or upon removal) I use Jessica’s nail varnish remover. As you must all understand if normal nail polish has this effect on my nails (and does not last - specially with work, housework, cooking and cleaning the house)... I was terrified of what would happen to my nails with gel nail polishes. But after looking into Jessica GELeration... I had to try. After doing some research on the Jessica webpage, I searched for nail treatments. So my search started...This pack was great value for money; Thanks Amazon! For the price of the oil and cuticle cream, you literally receive the hand lotion for free, which is fantastic.PROS-Super value for money-The oil is amazing - literallyA drop on each nail every night (this is a night treatment) and your nails become strong and healthy while remaining elasticity- so they don’t break (I have had no breaks or chips since I’ve been using these treatments)-The oils smells lovely -like almonds-Oil lasts forever as you only need a little drop on each nail (could get away with one drop for a few nails as you will notice if you buy it and try it)Honestly I have been using it for almost two weeks and the bottle is still full to the top.So superb value for money!-You can also use the oil on dry skin areas as elbows or heels in my case (due to hot summer days and wearing sandals)My heels are now soft as a baby’s bum ;)Honestly... My heels always go dry in summer, but this year they feel and look healthy and amazing (even my husband has noticed-which after 10years of marriage it says a lot)-Nourish cuticle cream has a lovely pink colour and smells divine too.-The cuticle cream naturally shrinks your cuticles and gives cuticles and nails a lovely, healthy pink colour.-I have also noticed my nails are whiter (not sure which product does this-as I’m mainly using oil and cuticle cream on a daily basis)-Nourish cuticle cream is fantastic to apply 1st thing in the morning (or during the day) It gets fully absorbed in 10 to 15 minutes and it’s beautiful smell remains for quite sometime.-Cuticle cream tube gives you a “Gosh this is small!” feeling upon arrival (or at least it did to me) But as you use so little on each nail it’s definitely superb value for money. You only need a small dash amount.I usually put the tube against my cuticle and just squeeze the tube a little... A very tiny dash of cream is released and there’s no wastage.-I have knocked my nails a few times and my nails stand strong and healthy - Better looking than ever before if I’m 100% honest.-All three products can be applied on natural bare nails or on nails with gel polish.-Hand lotion I have used only 3 or 4 days.It leaves my hands extremely soft but I’m not too keen on hand lotions (due to my skin type-as during the day we also tend to touch our faces more than we know/realise)CONSNoneThe only reason why next time I will probably have to buy the cuticle cream on its own will be because I assume that I will probably still have a lot of oil left (but will update when the times comes)But this is an ideal 1st buy pack.A must really because you get to try all three products.THE NOT SO GOOD...-Hand lotion does not smell as nice as the other two products (not bad - just not as nice)-If you have T-Zone oily skin like me you need to take some precautions to avoid gaining a few spots.Let me elaborate... Basically you apply the oil at night and you apply it by doing a circular massage in each nail/cuticle.But obviously it’s night time/ getting ready for bed kind of time so... As I’m sleep I must have scratched my nose or my cheek and thanks to my skin being so... “fussy” I have had a few big, irritating and horrible spot outbreaks. How am I avoiding it?After my night treatment (applying the oil) I use a cotton disk with a little rubbing alcohol and I clean the tips of my fingers (so oil only remains on nail bed and nail cuticles)This way I can move around in bed or touch my face without a spot outbreak.Overall...Do I recommend?Of course! YES!You will not find this value pack cheaper anywhere else (believe me-I spent hours searching online) and your nails will look amazing (using gel polish or not)I removed my gel polish a few days ago and I was petrified in case I had weak, gummy feeling nails... I machine my surprise when my nails were healthier and better looking than ever before!Honestly... It’s worth every penny and more!I wish you all the best! It’s great and a must to take care of yourselves ladies!

Phenomenoil is indeed gorgeous and it WORKS. Stick with it.
Cheap packaging this trio came in aside, these are a lovely set of nail and hand care products. There isn't really much 'instruction' about how or when to use each one so you have to use either the Internet or common sense to decide!Phenomen Oil: my absolute favourite. A small bottle, with a pipette applicator, of oil that's great not only for cuticles and nails but any other dry skin (lips, elbows etc). A gorgeous almond scent (from the almond oil of course!) But there are loads of other nourishing oils in here too. Before bed I use one tiny drop at the base of each nail and gently massage in. The results are minor at first, with softer cuticles and skin around the nails but I know from past experience that after a month or so of regular use nails grow stronger. A little goes a long way so this will last for ages and it's a pleasure to use.Therapeutic cuticle formula: this contains lanolin which can aggravate sensitive skin (just a word of warning) so I've used this moderately. Every few days a tiny dollop of this creme massaged into the cuticle area is meant to soften and repair damaged cuticles. I haven't used it religiously and couldn't say whether it's this or the oil, but my previously awful cuticles are looking a lot better!Hydracreme: a small bottle of 'sheer moisture' for hands. Smells clean and fresh and is quickly absorbed. Pleasantly surprised that it hasn't irritated my sensitive skin. It's a good size to carry in a handbag. Does leave hands feeling silky soft!I have my tried and tested hand creme (Cocoa Butter) so wouldn't want to deviate too much but this is still a lovely cream.***This trio is a lovely set, a pampering treat from a big nail brand (that does not test on animals). However, the key thing here for me that's made all the difference is the oil. Any oil can help improve nail growth and strength if you apply it daily but this is easy to apply and smells heavenly which encourages me to use it! You can buy the oil separately for about £15 so I might stick to just that in future. I've dropped a star off for the poor outer packaging, lack of instruction.

Very pleased with the quality and value for money of this set
I am a huge fan of Jessica's Phenomen Oil and luckily got sent this kit just when I finished my first bottle of the stuff. It is the best cuticle oil I have used and keeps my hands and nails in tip top shape. The kit supplies a bottle of the oil which is double the amount of their standard bottle which is already a great value in itself. The Nourish cuticle emollient is great too and does similar job, but in a cream formula. Great for popping in the handbag or taking away when traveling. The Hydracreme smells lovely and feels moisturising for normal to dehydrated hands, but I would say not hydrating enough for dry/ cracked hands, hence why I have deducted a star. Overall this set is a great value for money, well packaged and will make for a lovely gift for the right person.

Great trio of products.
This JESSICA "Rescue" system comes with three items. A nourish cuticle, a Phenomenon Oil and a Hydracreme. Or as the layperson may say cuticle cream, oil and a hand cream. All three are very good products. The cuticle cream is nice and thick and does a good job. The nail oil is wonderful, with a lovely smell and it's easy to soak in. The hand cream is also fantastic, with a light scent that is not too overpowering and it absorbs into your skin smoothly and quickly and leaves a fantastic feeling. It's also worth noting that the oil can be used on other parts of the body (they recommend elbows and knees) and that the hand cream works perfectly fine as an all-round body moisturiser too.Perhaps the only real downside is the cheap box/packaging they come in. Less than ideal if you want to give this great set as a gift, although if you're keeping it for yourself it's worth remembering that it's probably one reason why something so good is as great value for money as this set is.
