Halloween 6 [DVD]

‘Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers’ is a heinous sequel which unashamedly widens the already large disconnect between the original and each of the franchise’s follow ups. Michael Myers makes yet another come back where the only noteworthy killing this iconic villain does is slaughtering the remains of this franchise after a long string of sub-par sequels. This, the sixth film in this Halloween franchise marked the point where they completely gave up with quality and used this as a quick cash cow. The previous instalments at least had some redeeming features, whether it be simply enjoyment, this is sparse on anything apart from sheer stupidity and a bucket load of boredom.Myers is a true jack of his trade, an artist in the way he works, but here he portrayed as a less than competent opponent, he never came over as threatening, and just felt wasted. This is not helped by the confusing blend of multiple storylines. Half focusing on Michael, the other half evolving around a bizarre and unnecessary cult. We never needed an explanation on how Michael Myers gets his seemly indestructible abilities, and less so with this underwhelming explanation.Without, many of the features that made the original special (including Jamie Lee Curtis), this film was whimsically flat and astonishingly dull, even more so than the sequels that came before this. Without a doubt this forms to be the worst outing for Myers.Undoubtedly one of the worst sequels ever made!

Not a great end to the original timeline of the halloween movies, but i still like to see this every now and then and the producers cut as well. Not terrible but when you compare it to how it all started you can't help but wonder what went wrong.

This has to be the worst one of the series I've seen. Donald pleasence is the only actor in it. Whilst the guy playing M M does a very good job, the whole thing was a waste of time n money. Do yourself a favour and stay with the good ones. Avoid this, I threw mine straight in the trash!

Unfortunately I found this film rubbish. The lack of a story was boring.

Not opened as giving as a xmas gift but all came sealed in original packaging.

One of the worst Halloween films with lots of problems, still worth a watch for michael myers fans as michael is better in this film and scarier than in some of the others.
