It does wash and dry very fast, which is good. It should carry a warning that if left on continuously, the dog's fur comes out and sores develop. My dog hadn't been fussing at the leg, but a 6th sense made me take it off and I was mortified to see the state of his leg. If I'd left it just a couple more days he would have had open, suppurating patches over most of the area under the support.
