Great looking quality crushed peanuts I really wanted these so there was no risk to the baby birds with choking as they are so small the reason for 1 star is I had to throw them away and wasted £20 as the bag they came in had such a horrendous smell of really strong chemical plastic that the nuts smelt of the bag which ruined them and the birds wouldn't touch them. I even tasted some to check and had to spit them out. Such a shame as crushed nuts is a great safe way to feed the birds with no risk of harming the young ones and they were fantastic quality. The suppliers need to change their packaging.

I envy all these positive comments.I normally put sunflower seeds in my feeder which always get eaten.However, I thought I'd have a change and order the granules - sadly they've hardly been touched. I've had the odd one or two bluetits pay a fleeting visit, but nothing as prolific as previous.Will persist and buy a ground feeder and try that also.Have to say it seems really nice quality and came very quickly too.

I've never had these before and was really pleased with the quiality ,the birds didn't take any notice of them for a few hours and then went mad ,it didn't take long for them to disappear.I'm definitely going to buy more later,especially when the baby birds arrive and hedgehogs come out of hibernation,I used to spend ages chopping nuts for both as they can't eat half or full nuts,will save lot's of time.They arrived in double quick time and in a woven sack,really pleased with them.

i usually put whole nuts out on the ground but in spring when birds are feeding young they can be dangerous. i was looking for something to put down instead and found these. they are great. the birds love them and they last much longer than whole nuts (which i found the wood pigeons woud get through in seconds and the squirrel liked to bury in my lawn) i wont be going back to whole nuts.

Took the birds a while to get used to such small granules but no stopping them nowMuch safer for baby birds than normal peanuts.

Birds are not complaining so I assume presentation and flavour are fine! Order arrived on time and all is well. A reliable seller and I will use again.

As always with Maltby's , order dispatched either same day or next day , arriving via courier a few days later . Birdies love their peanuts , and these are a mainstay on the bird table .

High quality and super fast delivery. It is difficult to buy the granules in the shops and at this time of year with all the babies around it is not safe to put out the whole peanuts. These are not just smashed to pieces but are very tiny little granules as it says, and the birds love them. Also fantastic value as the peanuts are very pricey in the shops.
