This has to be slid up the stem, it's very stiff, till you feel the stem give and it will fall down. Till you feel bike slowing down. **Q: My son has a slight incline to work and some parts are grass, would this be suitable** A: Personally, I would not use scooters when riding on grass, or sandy surface, because wheel bearing can be easly contaminated.
