This has to be the best doorbell on the market right now. Great value easy to setup, work perfectly with echo devices and the app is really easy to use too. i think this is better than the ring and euffy ones i have had in the past - and looks the best of the bunch too

I wanted to replace a normal traditional wire doorbell as the cables had become brittle and were failing.I looked at several products but eventually selected the Blink based on1. Smaller size as the door frame is not big enough for a couple of them.2. Good vendor (Amazon) with privacy around data3. The ability to have a local storage instead of spending on cloud services4. Decent enough mobile App to use it5. Easy to install.6. Claims around battery (needs a specific type and making the setup thin to hit the claimed number)I bought a reconditioned one in case it was not really that impressive and it was a very good price as a learning device. It arrived and was actually as-new with the seal still on and everything inside. Usual Amazon fast delivery etc making it all painless.I have setup other home IoT stuff like Hue and Apple Homekit so it was pretty easy to setup. Most of it being done in the iOS App for me. It comes with the 30 day trial cloud account which I enabled. There are loads of videos showing the setup on Youtube if you want to see things at work. Plenty of features and options are available in the setup.I have now added the Sync module on the WiFi (along with the SD card you need to purchase separately. If you add it afterwards the default config is for the sync is to backup the cloud recordings. So if you want to do this add it at the time you setup the doorbell camera. I think there are a couple of videos showing how to do this. I will shortly. I suspect it needs a re-cycle and deployment to flip it over to defaulting to the Sync for storage. I have put the max (256Gb SD) into it and this would appear to allow months of storage.Works pretty well. Happy with its functionality and with this price extremely good value. I cannot really see what I am missing against a >£100 unit. Also the white smaller size looks way better on my doorframe.Improvements ? Let me change the ring tone please. Improve the security mount - a small flathead screwdriver is all you need.....It works as shown

The media could not be loaded. Doorbell worked brilliantly for about a month then went kaput.The batteries died and that was it. No matter what batteries I put in, the device does not work. Blink support are useless as there’s no direct contact information and I obviously can’t get a refund over 2 months down the line.Total waste of money.If you’re looking for a video doorbell, don’t do what I did and skimp out. Pay out for RING

Easy to set up and install works perfectly

I forgot this was refurbished until I went to review it, looked brand new and works great. Picture quality is great and if you plug a USB in to your sync module you can continue to record clips without paying for the monthly membership. Don't make the same mistake as me, remember to buy chimes or cameras with a chime function or you won't be able to use the doorbell. This is on me so I haven't taken away from the score.

Does the job

Great camera and sound quality.Just cannot get it to chime in the app or through Alexa.I’ll keep working on this as the price is very good value for moneyI’ve now sorted the Alex link and although there’s a slight delay in alert it works with a bell and an Alexa notification, hence the five stars.
