The building reg inspector suggested the optical one's as opposed to the other ones available. Package Contents - 1x Mains operated smoke alarm 1x Installation manual 1x battery Set of screw fixings It comes with 3 wires attached to it , one being a interconnect. If the smoke alarm goes off the seconds one immediately kicks in at the same time. The inspector did the test and was very pleased with the installation. If you know how to install it, then ts very simple to do so. I am not familiar with the electrics so had to get a professional to install 2x smoke alarms for Β£80. We got 2 quotes for Β£200 for the installation. You can do a test by pressing the tiny button. The GREEN Led on the smoke alarm looks great too, not too bright or low either.
