But once you use them, you realize that the fitting necks down and restricts the fuel coming out of your can. Causing it to take 4 times as long to empty and race can. If it's for your lawn mower that may be fine, but at the track or just holding a 5 gallon jug of fuel up for 10 mins is not fun. There is no screen for filtering, aswell as the fitting is cheap plastic. It broke off while trying to fill a car and poured gas everywhere. Terrible design. the only thing that makes this half was decent is the elbows. I have one in of these tunes in my pit box now just in case, but I really hope I don't need it! Over the years, ALL my VP racing jugs have accumulated debris - ball bearing sized black tar balls — that I don’t want getting into my Porsche’s fuel system. They will build up in front of the fuel pump, cause constriction and damage my Bosch high pressure fuel pump. This is an unacceptable component deletion that probably saves them very little money.
