Brilliant sound and tone. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Tight fit but nice tone. *by M***T on 18 August 2025* First off, I found this m/p a rather tight fit. Not quite enough to warrant sanding down the cork, but nevertheless requiring liberal lip balm and slow careful placement. Nice and steady. Something perhaps the manufacturer could address, given the comments of others on how tight it is and the risk of the neck end cracking... It doesn't 'look' any different from the Yamaha 4C, but that couple of thou in the tip opening and a larger chamber make a world of difference. Kept to a D'Addario Select Jazz 2 reed (as more air is required) and experienced a warmer and richer tone. Not as flat as the 4C. A Vandoren red java 2 sounded more responsive as well.
