Both, the shampoo and the conditioner have a creamy texture. The shampoo lathers well, and the scent is just truly amazing. Both, the shampoo and the conditioner have the same amazing scent. After opening both the bottles and smelling them, I wanted to start using them right away. Why wait until I travel. The best part is that to my surprise, this conditioner detangles so much better than the conditioner I normally use. The difference is incredible. I was a little stingy when applying the shampoo and the conditioner since I want it to last, and it looks like I'll get 4 washes out of these bottles. Had I used the amount of shampoo and conditioner I normally use, it would have lasted for 3 washes. A couple more things to note.. The conditioner bottle had an inner seal, but the shampoo bottle did not. Both bottles come packed very nicely though. I'm glad that I opened both bottles before using them because I didn't think they were super easy to open initially, plus it would have been difficult to do with wet hands because the screw-off tops are pretty smooth and slippery. I can say with great confidence that this is a high quality product all around. Why not give it 5 stars you ask... because of the price.
