I was very happy to find this laptop power supply. It's specifications (voltage/amperage output) matched the factory item exactly. When it arrived, the barrel connector on the end (the end that plugs into the laptop) is not straight as pictured. Instead it is a 90 degree plug. I *HATE* those as they are constantly getting twisted around the wrong direction and putting undue side load on the laptop power plug. Keep in mind that the laptops plug is usually just held in place by the mother board. The wife does a good enough job at destroying these, she doesn't need any help.I sent it back for a refund. I will say that the return process was quick and easy.If you do not mind the angled plug, this item may work well for you. For me, it was a deal breaker. I never even plugged it in so I cannot speak to if it outputs the proper specs or if it runs hot or not.

When my rescue puppy chewed up when I went to Best Buy and bought one toshiba replacement for 100 bucks that seems to have gotten lost. So I took a chance & it works perfectly.
