It was different from the other glass beads she has, in a good way.The bead I received is white over the center core, and then clear glass with colored hearts is over the white core. So if you look at the bead from the side (as pictured), you will view something similar to the picture. In fact, if you look closely at the bottom of the picture, you can see the whiteness on the bottom is kinda of transparent looking. The bead I received had the hearts around it, also as pictured.From the reviews it sounds like the consistency of quality has varied, but for the cost, it is worth ordering to see what you get.
