I bought them for my 1 and 3 year old. My 1 year old chews and it's very durable. **Q: Can I put warm water in it? What's the max temp it can hold?** A: It is not insulated, could probably fill with water up to 120F but it will not stay hot for long, or is designed for cold beverages. **Q: Is the straw wide enough to drink smoothies?** A: Yeah it seems wide enough for smoothies to me.
