It might do as a base on the post then wrap thick string around it ( glue it on) sorry I’m no expert just a guess . **Q: Can this b used to put on walls** A: This is hessian fabric - fairly open weave -and nothing else. Whilst it could be put on a wall it would be pretty difficult to apply and to fix with glue. I don't think it would look good.
