## Customer Reviews

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I read the reviews, which helped with moderating my own expectations.
*by B***H on May 29, 2016*

As many people have said, it fits a bit large, it's a Hoodie with 13 pockets...It should be large! The zippers are pretty clunky as another reviewer pointed out. However, it does provide the full functionality that I desired. The left handed front zipper takes a little getting used to as well. I really enjoy the designated pockets, it makes looking for things a bit easier. Getting older, it's perfect for making sure I don't leave high priced gadgets just lying on a table somewhere. I always have a pocket to put stuff. Great for working inside computer/server rooms, it's not so heavy it's going to make you uncomfortable other places, but hey it's a hoodie just take it off if it's making you hot. Just remember to grab the hoodie and pack your stuff in it before you leave!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I LOVE this hoodie
*by C***B on October 16, 2014*

I LOVE this hoodie! I work in a garden center, several actually, and I am always needed pockets for this that and the other! This is perfect. It is also long enough to cover your bum and not ride up. It is soft, the color is lovely and I hope to wear it for a long time...plus it is warm! The only downside was the price...would not normally spend this much money on a hoodie, but after searching everywhere for one with extra pockets I broke down and bought this one.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ H13, SCOTTeVEST, XY37 "travel hoodies"? I've tried em all now.
*by K***S on June 9, 2016*

Ok so I am a hoody-hoarder. I love hoodies and would wear one 24-7 if I could. I own A LOT. But I didn't have any kind of these "travel hoodies", so I decided to venture out and find one. I have now purchased on Amazon this AyeGear H13, the SCOTTeVEST microfleece hoody, and the XY37 travel hoody. (Gotta love Amazon Prime and free returns to try out things). This H13 hoody is so close to being GREAT. It's GOOD, and I like it, but it has a ways to go before achieving true greatness. Also understand that anybody's opinions on these is subjective, including mine. Everyone has different things they like/loathe. But anyway, here's my hoodpinion.Style-wise/appearance, this H13 is by far the best of the three in my opinion. It has kind of an "urban" look - I live in a major city so I care about that I guess. I suppose it could also be described as "alternative-ish" or whatever you want to say. It has a "weighted" feel, which I really like. Not "heavy" by any means, but feels durable, kinda like a Carhartt feel or American Giant. It's definitely not feather-light. The main zipper like people have said is on the left side which I think is a cultural thing? In the US, male apparel has zippers on the right. I thought it'd be a big deal but honestly it's not. Doesn't bother me at all. However the vertical chest pocket is on the right breast, which IS a bit annoying unless you're left-handed. I love the pocket itself and the zipper, but having to reach in with my non-dominant hand is a bit cumbersome. First world problems, I know. If it were on the right it'd be great. Same goes for the touchscreen phone/iPod pocket inside. It's on the right so again reaching in with your left hand to access it. Also the touchscreen pocket itself is a bit small. I have an iPhone 6 with a thin case on it, and it gets cut off a bit at the top (top of the phone sticks out a bit). I can manage but if you have a Galaxy Note or iPhone 6+ etc, you will probably hate it. iPhone 5 and the like, you're fine. There is a nice sized zippered vertical pocket on the left inside chest. And for the record, I actually LOVE the zippers on this hoody across the board. Some may not depending on preference, but they're rugged and bigger and just feel sturdy. I'm an active dude so I want that. The iPad pocket has a velcro enclosure - doesn't bother me but some hate velcro. I don't put my iPad in there anyway - I use it to store extra gloves or snacks for the plane etc. Speaking of gloves, no cuff-gloves (thumbholes) in the cuffs of this H13. Not a dealbreaker for me but some may want that. The two front handwarmer pockets at stomach level are pretty standard and deep enough, with snap closures. There's also another vertical zippered pocket on the lower right side which is kinda cool. There's a small pocket on both upper sleeves (outside bicep). They're smallish but good for a pack of gum or for me I have a slim-style wallet and I can fit it in there. Pen pocket inside holds a pen just fine. There's two "credit card" (or license or whatever) pockets on the inner left inside, but they're kinda flimsy and you have to really jam a card in there and it's more of a hassle than it's worth. Also I would be afraid of them falling out if you're being at all active. There are some stitching issues in general on the inside but honestly there are on every travel hoody I've tried (XY37 had the best stitching). The hood is pretty standard and comfortable. It fits pretty far over the front of the head which is nice but isn't by any means equivalent to having a "sleep mask" that some others have, if that's crucial to you.Now where I really feel like H13 dropped the ball is having no earbud holders. That is SO important to me and one of the main things I'm attracted to in the travel hoodies out there. I don't *need* a sleep mask, annoying neck pillow, or even thumbholes on the cuff, but keeping my earbuds out of my way while on the go or on the plane is a huge perk that this hoody is lacking. That IS almost a dealbreaker. Almost. But seriously AyeGear, get on that as of yesterday!Of the three I tried, I like this H13 the best for style, fit, and feel (for the most part - see what I have to say about SCOTTeVEST material below though). If it had earbud holders and switched a couple pockets to opposite sides it would be the winner for me for sure. Now it may help you to know that the XY37 has the most functional pockets, hands down. The placement is better and so is the sewing. BUT it has much smaller zippers probably to maintain a "sleekness" but for me I like the heftier zippers on this H13. But the XY37's layout is better thought out for the most part. However the XY37 is pretty plain looking, ran a bit smaller (which if you're going to have stuff in a bunch of pockets you want at least a LITTLE wiggle-room). This H13 is just a tad loose on me but I actually like that for this kind of travel hoody. By the way I am 6' 180lbs and wear a Large if that helps anybody. I bought Larges across the board in these hoodies. The only advantage I would give the SCOTTeVEST microfleece hoody is that the microfleece is actually SUPER soft and I can't deny it feels like you're snuggling with a teddy bear in a marshmallow patch. Haha. But, ironically, the pockets were a hot mess. They're all divided inside, apparently so that one pocket can (supposedly) serve multiple functions, but I just found them to be annoying as hell and adding to my organizational confusion rather than helping it. It's also pretty plain looking, kinda like a standard North Face fleece or something. Also no touchscreen pocket inside which seems like a major oversight (though some of their other jackets etc do have one). But yeah, that microfleece feels GOOD. (Not sure how long it'd hold up for after multiple machine washes and wear though). It is also $10 cheaper than both this H13 and the XY37, but if the pockets don't work all that great then why not just buy ANY other hoody because for that price you could get some killer brand-name "non-travel" hoodies. So, in the end, I returned the SCOTTeVEST microfleece hoody because the whole ultimate point is travel function. And though I intended on only keeping ONE hoody at the end of this ordeal, I am actually keeping both this H13 and the XY37. If they could merge to be the greatest hoody on the planet, I'd be happy, but alas... I keep the H13 because I know I'll wear it more often as I like the looks and the pockets it does have will function great in my everyday life. I'm keeping the XY37 because while it isn't the most stylish thing in the world, for getting through airport security and sitting on the plane itself or a train ride or long road-trip where I'm not driving or wherever things like the sleep mask, earbud holders, cuff-warmers, etc will be good to have. There's definitely pros and cons to both hoodies. Is either one worth their $99 pricetag? Certainly a debatable question. But I've never paid below $50 for a truly great hoody. I do have standard cheap-on-the-wallet Russells, Hanes, etc, but anybody that says those are the same as certain other $50-and-above hoodies is just making themselves feel justified for not spending more money. Haha. (True though). The H13 and XY37 both have enough "travel" bells and whistles in addition to being pretty dang comfortable that standard hoodies don't have to warrant them being a bit more expensive. Now I can't definitively say whether $100 is too steep or not, but I pulled the tags off and am keeping both of em, so... there ya go.
