The medium fits me very well; I am 6-0, 160 lbs, slim. The vest came with a left-hand zipper. I like the two chest pockets, two side pockets, and two inside pockets. The color is dark black on the outside and a dark grey inside. The outside is not a fleece material, but more of a polyester-type material and is water repellant. The inside is a light fleece material. I like the vest but wish it were lighter weight, though it's not heavier than other fleece vests I've tried. It's about the same weight as a plain lightly-lined windbreaker I have. I'd call it medium-weight rather then lightweight. But I haven't been able to find a truly lightweight fleece vest. It has a smooth finished exterior (stuff and crumbs don't get caught) and a soft fleece inside. Nice sized pockets for hands and a chest pocket for cell phone. Just one thing.This is a mens vest ( mens cut, no darts) but it has a woman's zipper.
