Our family has used this for years as a secret weapon to add to food.This is a perfect one pot curry recipeIn a large pan cook your meat first then for the perfect curry we add mushrooms and onions to a pan until the onions caramelise then add garlic and tomato puree , tomato purée first cook out the tomato purée gently so the garlic doesn’t burn.We then add 2 heaped desert spoons of this curry powder and stir to release the beautiful aromas which doesn’t take long , then add two tins of good quality chopped tomato’s , add your meat back into the pan just leave to simmer for as long as possible .This can also be made in a slow cooker just check that it doesn’t thicken up to much .Water always helps if this thickens too much but the consistency should be thick as opposed to watery as you want to be able to soak up all of the curry with naan bread mmm.This is so versatile and can be used as above to make the best curry or add a small amount to beans for curried beans.Curried meat/salad pitta pocketsWe also use with mince to make a simple pita pocket meal which is cheap and quick to make.Fry mince (other meat can also be used but mince is cheap and goes a long way) mushrooms and onions till browned add a teaspoon or two depending on your taste (you only want to be giving your cooked ingredients a little heat ) cook gently don’t burn as this part doesn’t take long .To serve add your cooked hint of curried mince,mushrooms and onions into warmed pitta bread serve with salad items of your choice , we use sweetcorn,peppers,tomatoes and Italian salad leaves .Perfect for mid week as cooked in no time and you can get the kids involved to prep your salad ingredients.

Gloopy, bright yellow, salty gunk
If you think this is a great chip shop curry sauce then seriously, you need to find a better chippy. Some reviews even state that this is like chinese takeaway curry sauce?? You must be joking! This is absolutely nothing like chinese takeaway curry sauce because that is darker in color and has a real taste of chinese five spice through it. I guess this is like a curry sauce you'd get from a real poor quality, cheapo chippy, but hey if you like cheap then knock yourself out.

Curry with none of the faff
I love this stuff, with leftover chicken I can make curry in less than 30 minutes just follow the instructions it's so easy. The flavour is spicy and hot but not too hot and very reminiscent of the curry from the local Chinese restaurant. You can buy it everywhere up north in local supermarkets but not here in Lincolnshire so I was thrilled to find it on Amazon at a quite reasonable price

Love this curry.
This was the curry powder if choice when I was growing up in Liverpool many many years ago. Moved to London and couldn't find it anywhere. We used to travel back to Liverpool and stock up but finding it on Amazon was fantastic. Even all my southern friends love it too now.

The Taste of a Chinese Chippy
All my favorite Chinese takeaways must have been using this as it is the exact flavour I remember. There's complicated instructions on the packaging but I just mix 3-4 teaspoons of the curry mix with boiled water and stir to make two decent portions.Great product, the real thing!

Having been trying to source this brand for a while without success - should have known Amazon was the answer! Really delicious, easy to use as a side or in a main dish.

Easy to make great taste
Always use this product for chicken curry .You can make it as thick as you like .I usually add extra curry powder for extra heat.To make a slightly different taste add coconut milk
