This actually solved my problem of not enough general volume coming out of my docked to external screens laptop for watching videos,etc. Pairs quickly. Loud, nice quality sound when using it linked to cell phone, BUT it doesnt solve my problem of my echo-ey office. Callers tell me I sound like I'm in a large empty room. Yes, I know, it sounds like that anyway unless I use a headset mic- so the mic on this device is going to give you true sound of the room you are in, its not going to help bad acoustics (which I was hoping it would). It appears to keep itself on mute unless you activate it, which is nice.
