The rubber in the cheap ones glaze over and won't grip the cards. would be so easy to correct during manufacturing. **Q: Does it come packaged or boxed?** A: Yes it can in a shipping carton. . It arrived inside of a plastic bag with styrofoam protection pieces inside of a lightweight cardboard box. This could easily break off and no longer hold the card tray if you are not careful.Another problem is with its poorly designed battery holder that struggled to properly secure C cell batteries. It took me a long time in trying to achieve a simple task of placing batteries into the machine.— Performance Issues —The card feeding mechanism is absolutely terrible and doesn’t always work well. Cards got stuck often, and at times it seemed to only process cards from one side, creating an uneven shuffle. This machine is incapable of handling six decks.I found that shuffling cards by hand was significantly more effective than using this product.
