I got an inconsistent, somewhat frustrating but somewhat useful scale to travel with and I don't have to worry about battery replacement.Basically, this thing will get you in the ballpark of the actual weight. I just measured the same bag three times in a row, and the weights came out to: 38lbs, 35lbs, and 36lbs. One pound can be the difference between the regular checked bag price and the oversized bag fee. These differences matter, so I've docked stars for the product's evident inaccuracy.All that being said, this tool is better than nothing.
