The camper toilet waste disposal acts more like an outhouse - holding the waste with in a closed container. Our camper only has a direct opening to the tank which is opened when it "flushes" and then closed when it's done flushing. A household toilet has a water trap and is connected to a sewer line or a septic system - in either case the water trap prevents odors from coming back and the waste is removed to a remote area (sewer or septic system). **Q: I have a small t@b with a very small tank. i have not used the kitchen sink, can i use this in the small lav?** A: Yes just let the tab sit in sink to desolve when using.
