Because the top band is to big, it makes my feet slide forward too far and my toes go over the front edge. The length is a bit long. I wear these with thick socks in winter. Looks don't matter over comfort at this age. I use these in summer without socks but have to be careful what I'm doing in them because the top across foot is overly wide and high.I have average thickness and width sz 8.5 feet. I will see how the next size smaller fits next summer. I bought these in sz 9-10.5 (40-41) grey, using their sizing chart. My foot is 10 inches so I ordered the corresponding size. They're to big. Size down.The color is actually a blueish grey and a nice color. I love how soft, lightweight, and pliable the plastic that these are made of.I wear these inside and outside. They don't seem to track a lot of dirt/mud with them. That's a big plus living in the countryside.These have been worn outside doing light yard work and in the garage and very often the house all day. These are slightly scuffed and dirty, but track way less dirt than most of my other shoes track in.I've taken pictures and compared them to a very, very similar light grey pair from different vendor. Those I ordered in one size smaller, and they're too big.You can see the light grey pair are shorter in length but wider. I did this comparison photo, so people looking for wide or thick feet sandals can see that other brand will probably fit better for them.
