**Q: Is there a way to make the volume from the headphone jack lower? its way too loud**
A: The 3.5mm jack isn’t really for using headphones - it’s more for alternative audio-out options, in case you don’t want to use the audio from the HDMI cable. It’s way too loud because you are literally receiving the full and complete signal, without any volume control at all.

You’d want to either plug your headphones into whatever device the HDMI cable plugs into (TV, monitor) or plug some other device into the 3.5mm jack (some kind of audio controller or speaker or sound bar or something) and plug your headphones into that device.

**Q: Where is it made?**
A: This is a generic scaler from a Chinese factory. They simply change the logo on the shell before shipping it out.

**Q: How do you get it to display 16:9 ratio? Currently it only does the 4:3 ratio. Yes, it is set at 16:9 on the Wii settings.**
A: I set the Wii to 16x9 and configured the TV settings to scale the image to fill the screen

**Q: Did anyone else have a problem with scores on Wii Just Dance games being much lower with this plus new tv?**
A: You may be experiencing lag due to the TV having to scale the picture from 480i/480p (make sure the signal is 480p in your Wii settings) to your TV's native resolution. This is fairly common, as most modern TVs try to make the picture look better which takes time. To fix this, check to see if your TV has a built in game mode and enable it. If not, turn off settings like "motion smoothing," "contrast enhance," "live color," "noise reduction," or others.

Honestly works great for the price! Build quality isn’t great, feels weak on some parts but has held up for about a year of light usage with no damage. Picture and video quality aren’t up to modern hd standards, but it honestly still looks great and any quality issues add to the nostalgia factor in my opinion. Super easy to use, just connect the adapter into the back of your Wii, then connect your hdmi into the adapter. The plug and play simplicity let me play my Wii again on every tv in my house. Great value!
