Fender Classic Series Wood Case - Strat®/Tele®, Lake Placid Blue

I had been pondering about getting a hard case for a while. Money from a recent birthday and an Amazon Gift Card persuaded me to purchase this item. It really is a nice bit of kit. It looks cool in that retro way, is sturdy, and with the guitar inside, reasonably light enough to carry around. My main concern would be whether my left-handed Esquire Classic Vibe Telecaster would fit. I am happy to say it does...just. It took a little gentle persuasion, but after taking the guitar in and out a few times, there was just enough room across the frame to fit in the width of the guitar body. In terms of issues with the length of the guitar, there were none. I have straplocks onmine and there was plenty of room. There were cheaper cases, but I was happy to shell out the extra for what is a great quality product.

Fender - designed in the USA - but made in China. This case is OK - the fittings on it are a bit cheap and im not convinced its going to last as long as my beautiful Strat and Tele. I think ive paid for the name here. Dont get me wrong - its a good case - and my Fenders fit perfectly. Just could do with a little better quality materials. #

Not inexpensive but my old 70s telecaster fits like a glove. My original case had pretty much fallen to bits. I may try and fix it as I want to get a strat but this new case does a sterling job and looks great. Although having said it wasn’t cheap; it was still cheaper than two guitar shops I went to (neither of which had it in stock anyway). Checked Amazon and saved around £20. Good colour too.

Pretty good tweed case. Nice plush finish fits strat and tele very well. Reasonably sturdy but not really road ready. I have two of the expensive G&G cases and this isn't quite as good as those but it is considerably cheaper.

Visually this case looks great from a distance. However on close examination it is clear that it is built to a price point. The catches and latches seems to be fairly lightweight and not all straight although they do all close ok. The end pieces that look like nice stitched leather are in face plastic caps glued on with fake stiching. The handle is fine.The case is a wooden construction and heavier than the moulded plastic ones, internally the case is well padded and affords decent protection to the guitar . My Strat fits perfectly. The headstock is a very tight fit but it is no problem to compress the foam which is under the crushed velvet and the headstock is then firmly held in place. If used for regular gigging I'm not sure how long the case would last , think the brown glued on end caps would prob start to come loose. For regular gigging your much better off with a proper flight case like Hiscox for the same money or less. Personally I would like to have seen better quality latches fitted and proper leather end caps happily paying another £30/40 for quality. Externally it really comes across as a cheap Chinese product and feel Fender should do better.hence only 3 stars.

Ein wunderschöner Koffer der extraklasse. Sowohl die Strat, als auch die Tele passen exact hinein. Die Gitarre wird vom inneren Polster fest gehalten, fast wie ein Formkoffer. Der Plüsch ist sehr weich und hervorragend gepolstert. Hochwertige dicke Nähte und die Liebe zum Detail machen diesen Koffer aus. Das Fach ist per Knopfpin gegen öffnen gesichert. Was ich sehr toll finde ist, dass die Gitarre schräg liegt und beim Tragen gegen Rutschen zusätzlich gesichert ist. Kein chemiegeruch. Schneller Versand. Jeden Cent wert gegenüber günstigeren noname Koffern. Was der 100 Euro teurere deluxe Koffer mehr bietet kann ich bei bereits dieser Qualität des hier gekauften Koffer nicht erkennen. I’ve read some reviews saying that these cases have small holes or other manufacturing issues. The one I got was perfect. I love the blue color as it matches by blue Telecaster and the interior fit was ideal.

Las 3 estrellas van por que es bonito Pero los metales (cerraduras , cierres) tienen un aspecto cutre y se siente de mala calidad En mi caso el cierre vino sin funcionar (o cerrado con llave) y nada de llave para abrirlo Muy caro para lo que es

Cet étui est cependant présenté à l'affichage avec une griffe Fender en acier sur la partie ouvrante, hors à la livraison reçue, c'est une enseigne Fender placée dans l'angle de la poignée de transport qui orne cet étui, comme ceux fabriqués par Fender depuis les années 50 ?
