I left the coolbox running from a 12v battery into late evening (around 11pm) and then unplugged it. I was very pleased to see that at 8am the following morning, the food inside was still cold. The only negative point I have about this product is that the plastic on top is rather thin, please don't place objects on top of the coolbox, as this will stop the fan from working.
