I saw these (not the exact ones) about 25 years ago on a cooking show and have used them ever since. I still have my original. Now, I give them as gifts. Just put a garlic clove inside and roll. You will have to trim off the edges of the clove. They are great. **Q: Whats new with upgraded?** A: It has small rubber grippers on the inside that hold onto the garlic better than the smooth inside. **Q: If the tube were to be sliced/snipped open, would the silicone remain curled or become flat?** A: I imagine it would become flat **Q: Why are there two peelers? Do they do different size cloves or something?** A: No difference but they don’t really peal a garlic clove, they merely take off the outer skin or the easy part your still left with the clove skin.
