Ran Redline MT-90 with 30K mi. OC intervals for the first 8 years before switching to Ford Motorcraft XT-M5-QS. Motorcraft shifted better in winter. After 18K mi on this last fill of Motorcraft the shifting became notchy when warm, so I'm trying this less expensive Triax. I immediately noticed easier shifting into 1st and reverse. Triax seems to be more viscous and so far has improved shifting in all gears, in all temperatures, although a little stiffer than Motorcraft when very cold. Triax performs similar to Redline when warm. If Triax remains affordable I will continue to use it, since it's performance is acceptable. I don't know if the claimed extended OC intervals are possible, but if so, TRIAX Synergy Gear MT 75W-90 GL-4 (MT-90) should an excellent choice. My transmission only needs 2.7 qts. 1 gal. costs less than 3 qts.
