Gap is about 3 ½ feet plenty of length could this be modified to fit?** A: Hi, sorry for late reply, this has only been erected yesterday, no it cannot be modified, it comes out by over 7 foot, we had to dismantle because it over hung on to neighbours drive by a foot. I am going to have to sell it as had it too long to return. **Q: Hi how much work is involved in erecting one of these ? Is it a 1 man job ?** A: Components are lightweight but it's best to have assistance in alignment for positioning and fixing. **Q: Hi - how is this fixed to the side of the house please?
