This item allows you to view the picture in great detail. I would recommend that you also purchase the grip to hold it to the camera, I didn't. Good luck and thank you. ### ⭐⭐ Makes the image worse *by B***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on 29 October 2012* I bought a set: Hoodman Loupe; Eyecup and Camera strap, but this review is just for the eyecup.I agree with Mike, the eyecup just makes the hoodman loupe worse... I would say almost unusable. The eyecup comes with its own lens, which alone seems to be very poor and has inconsistent blurring round edges. Adding it to the loupe just compounds this and distorts the image. In order to get a fine focus I ended up moving the Loupe aside so i could just see the screen, which surely defeats the object of the loupe. I bought it hoping to be able to find focus using it for video on a DLSRI've read numerous reviews and they almost all rave about the Hoodman Loupe setup.
