This is a very sturdy and effective bench. I do not hesitate to recommend it. It is far more than a chest press. Its design lends itself to many more exercises. I especially like the space saving design. This works exactly as it should. Some of been critical of the instructions and assembly process. Are the instructions perfect, no. That said they are more than adequate. In places I wish the instructions were clearer, but again it is NO BIG DEAL. It is relatively easy to assemble. Everything lined up as it should and I had no issues with parts or hardware. I am very happy with this purchase.
