The pictures show it, but to see it in real life is unbelievable - the solenoid is on the outside rather than built in - it is an ugly plastic thing with 2 delicate wires going into the tap. Anyway, once installed, it is out of sight thankfully. The main issue with this tap is that the supplied (European) power supply has a very short lead and so had to be plugged into a socket in the bathroom/cloakroom. This is not allowed in the UK.
