This model was the slightly updated version of the product I believe. The concern for me before buying one of these machines was the weight limit advised of 100kg. It seems all the similar products also have this weight limit, and with my frame topping 117kg I was a little unsure as to whether I should risk the buy, but at the price I thought it would be a reasonable punt. Assembly is very straighforward and all tools are provided, and the build quality is good - Sturdy steel square tubing, and strong looking tube tracks for the knee roller to slide up and down. It is comfortable to use - The knee pads are suitably chunky and the elbow pads are dense foam. The first few uses highlighted how out of shape I was in the abdominal department (though I did have a base level of abdominal strength from working out some years ago) - It was hard work to do 15 reps on the easy setting! However, perserverance is required,( though you should definitely stop on whatever rep you are on if it hurts too much!) and over a few days reps or sets can be gradually increased. I use it once a day as part of an exercise program, currently doing 5 sets of 30 reps, and you can feel this thing working, especially in the lower abdominal area. As mentioned before, I am overweight for this item, and I would say that the point under most strain would be the hand grip bars - They take a lot of the weight during the workout - so I will keep my eye on the welded joint for these - So far though, it is standing up to the strain. The downside for this product is there is no information or recommendations for workout regimes - You just have to play it by ear and see what you can manage - I would recommend someone with little prior experience starting off with 10 reps, and 3 sets and see how you get on from there.
