Multiple use: Thanks to the dual mode design, you are free to take body temperature by detecting the infrared heat given off by the forehead, which is from 32℃ to 42.2℃ (from 89.6℉ to 107.9℉), and by the eardrum, which is from 0℃ to 100.0℃(from 32.0℉ to 212.0℉). This device also can be used to measure the temperature of baby milk or bathing water or object's surface, from 0℃ to 100.0℃（from 32.0℉ to 212.0℉). Ensure the probe cover is taken off, then point the thermometer toward the measured object and keep a 3-5mm distance between the probe and the measured object. Usage: Measure temperature via forehead: Make sure the probe cover in place when using forehead function. Hold the device and point to the forehead making it slightly touch the skin. Long press the button and scan the forehead, then release the button. You can get the reading on the display after hearing a beep. Perform in a row and get the average of readings as the last result. Measure temperature via ear: Take off the probe cover. Insert the probe into the ear canal. Ensure the probe point directly toward the eardrum. Press Start button and you will get the result after the beep. Clean the probe with dry towel if necessary.
