To answer your actual question, they come individually wrapped, if that's what you mean by taking them apart. Also know that in my batch, only 6 or the 24 were the larger size ones and were actual squishies, the others were smaller and weren't squishy and had an oily feel that left an unpleasant residue on my fingers.
