How about for people with wide feet, are they comfy?** A: The Fit Flops are very light and comfortable. Don't know about people with wide feet since I were a double A shoe. **Q: Hi- I would like the base of the shoe to be tan color not brown. Are these a tan or brown?** A: When i bought this pair, the base color was in the between. **Q: does the dark tan closer to a red color?** A: Red color **Q: What color is the base of the tan shoe? I don’t want brown but prefer a tannish color base.** A: It looks just like the photo... a reddish brown. Also the leather was really sharp/ uncomfortable between my toes so I sent them back. They should have made the toe piece a soft suede like other pairs I have had. I own Mukluks, clogs, and round 10-15 pair of thong fitflops. The sole of this sandal keeps your feet from sliding (vs. the leather soled fitflops) and offer just the right amount of cushion for my feet. The additional option of being able to tighten the strap seals the deal. I purchased the Lulu fitflop and although they were very comfortable, they ended up stretching out and I had to give away. Overall, Fitflops are the only shoe I wear and keep my feet happy.
