I'm no expert but I wouldn't have thought you would apply these to scabs. They are for protecting infection on open wounds. I've used them a lot and they are extremely good. Absolutely excellent things, but, find some thick gauze or bandage to wrap around the wound as the iodine will stain !! Hope you get better soon **Q: Can you shower with these on or do we need to remove them?** A: They need to be used with dressings such as Aquacel, therefore you must either remove the whole dressing or use a shower boot to keep the dressing dry. You can buy a shower boot on Amazon or, you could ask your Doctor to prescribe one on the terribly good NHS.
