    Bridges to Contemplative Living with Thomas Merton is one of a series using this title as its main content. There are 10 booklets to the series.  "Entering  the School of Your Experience" is Book 1 of this series.  I first began using this series 6 years ago.  I used them for small group study and sharing.  I am a Merton "lover" and I found the booklets very useful, easy to read and follow.  The group participants looked forward to coming together each week to share on the content of the session we were using that particular week.  There are 8 sessions in each of the booklets so I used each booklet over a two month period.  Basically, I used one of the booklets in Autumn and another in late Winter/early Spring.  The format is the same throughout each of the booklets:  a prayer followed by an Introduction to that particular session, a small section from one of Thomas Merton's writings, and another short section by a more contemplative author who used some of his/her writings into the Merton theme for that session.  I like the set-up and some of the group members attended several/all of the Fall/Spring sessions.  The enrichment comes from the group members in their sharing.  If you have a sharing group in mind, this one will 'fill the bill.'
