There's a dial in the kettle's body that shows the water temperature as it rises. It's quick enough boiling water and the noise doesn't bother me at all, but the most important thing for me is that it only consumes 2.2kw. The majority of kettles have a consumption of 3kw but I wanted something less costly to run. Working from home since the beginning of the pandemic means that the kettle works at least 6 or 7 times a day minimum so that's an important point.
