My original review: I'm a very long-time user of Annie Sloan's chalk paint line. Since the pandemic, however, I try to order EVERYTHING off of desertcart. I have to make a 45-minute trip (one way) to get the AS paint from one of her suppliers. Nope, not anymore since I found the Chalky Chicks paint line sold on desertcart. Wow, what a relief. I took a gamble and ordered it. I mean, I really love AS chalk paint, and I feared nothing would even come close. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised at its performance. The paint was perfectly smooth and creamy and was a really pretty shade of white. Not too bright, and no yellow undertones. I was painting over a black surface and ended up adding several coats, probably because I diluted the paint some in order to make for a smoother application. I did some distressing and it turned out beautiful. The only thing I noticed compared to AS chalk paint was that it was a little harder to distress. I typically use a 220-grit sandpaper for distressing (with AS paint) but had to go to a 150-grit paper. No big deal, just different.
