Finally, what did the camera in was hooking it to a 5v circuit rather than a 3.7v one. I didn't think such a small voltage shift would be dangerous, but it killed the camera pretty much instantly, frying something and giving me the nice smell of burnt electronics. If you're looking for a throw away camera for a kids toy, that you don't mind dealing with a few issues on, it's decent. If you're looking for something a little better, skip on this one. The customer service of this seller is top notch however. If you aren't sure whether to go for this camera, It won't hurt to give it a try.
