Ideas?** A: Hello, We test this item many times then we changed the connection to plastic and it worked in every case. One inserted into tower shank it worked just as the other with no problem. We sell thousands and thousands of these and have had only one customer that received one that was to large to fit their tower shank, and sent a replacement out asap to correct the issue. These work on standard and stainless steel tower shanks we tested them on. I have nor heard of any cross threading as of yet so I really do not know how yours is not working.
