I usually buy cans of whole zhacai mostly to use as an ingredient to be cooked for a part of a dish. When I am eating it by itself or use as a topping, I slice or shred, desalinate and season it. Lately there are so many imported foods with p65 warning. It may be labeled to avoid possible lawsuits even though it may be harmless, but it is not a good feeling.
